T-Mobile could be the first to go live on LTE Advance and ‘5G’

When the 3G launched few years ago, we were all amazed at the 2mbps+ speed on our mobile devices, today, the 4G LTE moves at a peak rate of 60mbps in many locations with Verizon and AT&T being the major carriers. You know, this is technology, it’s never going to stop there, and there is room for improvement.

The LTE (also known as Long Term Evolution) is just the first generation of 4G. The LTE Advanced follows, this technology theoretically boast of a peak speed of 300mbps, three times the speed of 100mbps peak of current LTE. Yota, the carrier at Moscow was the first to go live on the LTE Advance in October 2012, then, there were no phones carrying the LTE Advance radios in market.4G LTE Modem from Samsung (speciallly made)

T-Mobile LTE Competitors…

The 4 major carriers in the US have just started rolling out the LTE networks with T-Mobile below the table. While Verizon and AT&T are covering around 200+ cities, T-Mobile has just got 7. Sprint is rallying in between as they just started on the LTE last year. Being at the bottom of the table is about getting T-Mobile the big crazy advantage as they are now focusing on how to get on the LTE Advance instead of the old school first generation LTE. Head of radio network and evolution strategy at T-Mobile, Yasmin Kamili said this to Venture Beat:

“I think we’ll probably be able to move faster [to LTE-Advanced] because we have the latest hardware in place,”

LTE Advance on T-Mobile – the future of Internet Connectivity

The T-Mobile new LTE plan is set to cover 100 million US homes by mid-summer, and over 200 million by year ending. This is a really big ambitious plan, the company recently acquired MetroPCS, which should be a great tool to getting the LTE network live as soon as they can. The current LTE subscribers know that the theoretical 100mbps is just a day dream; the speed is actually around 5-25mbps depending on traffic on network. As many have seen a crazy speed up to 60mbps, the LTE Advance might actually go around the range in the reality as the given theory for uploading and downloading is 300mbps.

For real, will T-Mobile be able to utilize the opportunity and be the first to get live on the “5G” network before the others or stick to the plan of getting on the LTE Advance on the level of 4G+? Let me hear your views.

3 Types of Internet Connections and Their Usefulness

Starting or running an online business rest solely on one major factor, internet accessibility! Without a reliable and fast internet connection, you can’t excel in your service delivery. There are three types of internet connections method; some are for mobile phones while others are for both mobile phones and computers.

So, in this article, we will be sharing the top 3 types of internet connections and their usefulness.

3 Types of Internet Connections

Types of Internet Connections and Uses
These three types of internet connections have stood the test of time, providing internet solutions to mobile phones while at the same time servicing computers and smart device owners around the world.

1. WAP

Wireless Application Protocol WAP i

The WAP is an abbreviation for ‘Wireless Application Protocol’ is one of the types of internet connections that allows mobile phones to connect to the internet. It is another form of internet connectivity that can be likened to the GPRS internet connection. They both share similar traits except for the fact that a GPRS connection can be useful when connecting to the internet via a computer unlike it is with WAP. This is a totally mobile internet method which means that you can only use it on your mobile phone and you can’t use it with a computer.

The connection is very slow when compared to the other two forms of internet access mentioned in this article. Only mobile browser enabled phones can use this connection. Connection can be activated by using the phone line to dial a connection via the phone connection’ signal before the user can then be able to access the net. It is classified among the second generation internet connection method.

The GPRS internet connection method is known as a type of internet connection that which you can use to connect to the internet via your mobile phone network. You can’t go beyond the connection’s signal capacity which you can do in other types of internet connection methods. GPRS internet access is a second-generation connection method known as 2G. As much as it has its ups, there are limitations that accompany it.

The connection is fast in speed but very low when compared to the speed you can get from a broadband internet connection (the third-generation internet access).

GPRS internet connection can work both on a phone and a computer system. Just like I said above, you will need to dial the connection from your mobile phone in order to connect to the internet with this type of connection. In most cases, people use PC suites or Bluetooth to set up a connection link between the phone and the computer in order to access the internet through this method.

Of all the three types of internet connections discussed in this article, this one can disconnect at any point in time without notice, especially when there is no signal in the area, but a broadband internet connection can’t.

3. New Generation Internet Connections (3G and 4G)

Newer generation internet connection methods are known as the most reliable and fastest mode of accessing the internet. When we are talking of newer generations of internet connection, we are referring to 3G and 4G broadband internet connection methods.

A 3G broadband internet connection is known as the fastest internet connection until the time 4G internet connection method was announced to be in the making and when it finally released for everybody to be using it worldwide, it will become the fastest internet connection with the speed which is said to be in form of 100mbps which none of the formal internet connection are able to offer.

4G internet access is the best and the fastest means of accessing the internet as of now and it is far better than a 3G internet connection and even all other forms of internet access.

These three types of internet connection methods have stood the test of time, providing internet solutions to mobile phones while at the same time servicing computers and smart device owners.

4G Internet Connections – The Making of a New High Speed Internet Connection

Connecting to the web nowadays is becoming much easier with the current development in the internet connection technology. Choosing the best internet connection should not be taken without due consideration as it can make an enormous difference in your overall understanding about it.4G internet connection

If you mistakenly choose a slow speed internet connection, it is very clear that you wouldn’t enjoy it because you are going to access the net at the very lowest speed that you can’t ever imagine (like taking more than 30 minutes to browse through your emails, something that will cost you less than a minutes to achieve – you will be restricted to your browsing and you will be restricted to the time, speed and bandwidth of your web surfing); likewise, if you choose a fast rate internet connection, there is an assurance that you’ll enjoy the connection without any constraint, even with the way internet connectivity has been on the increase since the past many years.4g-speeds

If you are looking for fast, easy to use, and efficient internet connection, choose 4G high speed internet connection and you’ll be astounded by the outcome but not only will you get all these features, you will also get a hold of a modern and flexible one as well and these means that your connection will even be faster than 3G or Dialup Internet connection. How does this innovatory up-to-the-minute internet connection technology works? 4G broadband internet connection works in a superb way by allowing you to access the internet at a very fast speed that can even triple the speed of a dialup or 3G internet connection and you does not need to use your normal phone line for the internet connection which is the cause of slow speed in most dialup internet connectivity.

Dialup internet connection is prone to unavailability of the signal strength in the areas where there is no easy access to connect to the local phone line cabinet but 4G internet connection on the opposite side requires a single infrastructure in one single metropolis be able to get internet connection which means; and that is the major reason why the 4G service is not yet available in every nook and cranny of each country of the world but it is available in a very spread area of land. It also use a committed infrastructure for its internet connection delivery while a dialup is just a continuous tradition of old fashioned infrastructure that was meant for another use and this acts does not give room to any development at all.

Generally, fourth generation technology doesn’t have to be similar to any other thing else to make real sense, roughly talking, it is the subsequently invention of mobile technology that has been designed from the scratch to become a high speed internet connection.

Fourth generation connection (4G) is a form of a wireless technology and can also be used as wired high speed internet connection for delivery of internet connection to your home or office. You can also use your USB to connect your move-able computer devices (such as Smart phones, PDAs) to the internet anywhere that there is an availability of 4G internet connection coverage is available and this means that you can connect to the internet anywhere and anytime that the 4G broadband internet connection coverage is available within range in a restaurant, friend’s house, classroom, hotel room or even inside a moving car which has been tagged as a “MOVING CAFÉ”price of buying a broadband internet connection is relatively the same thing when compared to the DSL or Dialup internet connection and since this connection is even faster than the two mentioned above and it doesn’t have any negative aspect.
