Amazon to hit the market with series of Kindle Fire HD and HDX tablets, running the new Fire OS 3.0 ‘Mojito’

Amazon was one of the first companies to commercialize Android tablet at no cost, meaning they didn’t make a profit off the hardware. The Kindle Fire was released a year after Steve Jobs routed the market with the first generation of iPad at $400.

Amazon Kindle Fire became the hope of people who could not afford the beautiful and innovative Apple iPad slate. Amazon used the Kindle Fire to market its eBook store, even though, the device is more than just an eBook reader. This brought a turnaround for the Android tablet boosting it into the high sales market.Amazon Kindle Fire HD and HDX

Introduction of the Amazon Kindle Fire HD and HDX

With an initial plan of marketing its eBook store, Amazon has successfully found itself in the tablet industry, on Wed, it announced the successors of the Kindle Fire lineage and by the time you complete reading this review, you would have known that the Kindle Fire has just been turned to Kindle Ablaze still at no cost.

Kindle Fire HDX – The stars of the show

For you who are a little more bucked, Amazon amazes the market with the HDX models and you can ditch the base model.

A brief glance into the Fire OS 3.0 “Mojito”Amazon Kindle Fire HD and HDX running Fire OS 3.0

The previous Kindle Fire run on Amazon’s fork of Android, Mojito is an upgraded version of this featuring new stuff for Kindle users.

The first is the optimization of performance and touch latency to take advantage of the new hardware and for a better experience on these new slates.

Amazon tech support departments give you a Mayday button which enables you to connect with them 24/7/365 free of charge. Just within 15 seconds of pressing the button, you are quickly connected with a representative who completely takes over for you or helping you with issues by drawing on your display, you will also be able to see the rep, isn’t this incredible?

The X-Ray shows brief information about the show or movie you are watching and the music your are hearing.

With the second screen option, you will be able to send video to stream on a TV while you continue with an urgent assignment on your tablet.

Quick Switch is a new multitasking system which allows you to use gestures.

Note this; all the software on this tablet comes with advert and if this is a big deal for you, you may have to spend another $15 to opt out completely, you had better add this into the cost when buying your selected option model.

Conclusion

The most beautiful of all is that Amazon is offering some really good device hardware at very competitive cost, if the fork of Android without the Play Store does not bothers you; you’d better go make a pre-order and join the blaze at Amazon.

These are the date scheduled for the release line up of Kindle Fire HD and HDX

  • Kindle Fire HD – October 2
  • Kindle Fire HDX 7 inch – October 18
  • Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 inch – November 7
  • Kindle Fire HDX 7 inch (4G LTE) – November 14
  • Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 inch (4G LTE) – December 10

Apple iPhone 5S, the special features

No one knows if it was going to be called iPhone 6 or iPhone 5S, not until mid September when its release was getting closer.

Apple finally released the iPhone 5S on 20th September, it came along with a cheaper iPhone which Apple named iPhone 5C, a lot of the new Apple grand smartphone has been shipped to its first round of markets. My biggest concern is the special feature Apple had made to market the iPhone 5S.

Apple iPhone 5s.

Let’s stroll a little to see what the iPhone 5S has to offer

Touch ID fingerprint securityApple iPhone 5S

Apple tagged the iPhone 5S as the best smartphone so far, the new fingerprint security system is enough to be one of the point of features for Apple to hit a big bucks with the new iPhone.

Instead of the old conventional method of imputing password to unlock your smartphone, you can easily teach the device to learn your fingerprint and anytime you want to open it up, you simply place your finger on the home button for few moments and your phone activates.

The name of the new technology is called Touch ID.

It allows up to four people to use one device. At the moment, the new technology is used for unlocking your phone and making purchases on iTunes and may become a gateway for mobile payment in the future.

Design

The iPhone 5 was a turnaround in Apple’s iPhone design, the iPhone 5S continued in this trend, it was designed based on the iPhone 5. It came with the already known shiny edges, glass top, metal back and bottom caps. The front is dominated by display still same size with the iPhone 5. If you had been waiting for a completely new design, you had just been disappointed.

The only difference that will not make you call the iPhone 5S an iPhone 5 is the home button redesign, bigger back camera flash and the color option in market. You have an option of going for a Space gray or Gold.

The body is light enough, (112g) and very thin (7.6mm), and can go in to size any harm comfortably. When it slides into your pocket, you hardly feel you are carrying any weight.

It seem the bigger screen of competitors’ product seem not to move Apple an inch. The iPhone for real is starting to look boring though it’s still a well built device with its gorgeous design.

Display

The same as the iPhone 5, the iPhone 5S screen quality can still be considered as excellent with no cause for alarm. Although, Android smartphones have leaped to 1080p since last year, the 326 pixels per inch Retina Display is still a jackpot for Apple and we are still okay with that. Color separation are excellent with the iOS 7 UI gorgeously standing out.

The screen size is really much of a concern, Apple seem not to be responding to the increasing trend of the larger screen demand of smartphone users, an advantage that has been taken up by rivals like Samsung and Sony. I can boldly say Apple is becoming an old school by not implementing this on the iPhone 5S. This is the biggest deficiency of the Apple’s new benchmark device. Anyway, let’s wait to see Apple’s plan on the iPhone 6 for 2014.

Performance

The iPhone 5S scored 2,533 on Geekbench 3 compared to the 1,851 value for Galaxy S4. Apple’s A7 chip proves to be pretty faster than the Samsung’s Snapdragon. Everything is immediate, zippy and responsive. No doubt, the iPhone 5S is excellent in performance. The A7 in the iPhone 5S shifted to the 64-bit architecture.

If not for this, Apple wouldn’t have gotten enough weapons to fight back on the rival’s table.

CameraApple iPhone 5S

The iPhone 5S has an improved and excellent camera, daylight shot is not much different from the quality of the iPhone 5, but Apple claims a 33 percent light sensitivity, therefore, the device is really an albino that helps you picks up night images.

The iPhone 4S and 5 offers a maximum resolution of 8megapixel; the only technology Apple used to beat other rivals with larger pixels is the larger pixel size of 1.5µm vs. 1.4µm and the f/2.4 aperture stronger than the f/2.2 of others.

The new iOS 7

The iOS 7 is another reason you will want to buy the iPhone 5S, it was made in mind with the 64-bit, it has a smooth user interface and it is simpler. In short, it is good enough as a mobile operating system of 2013.

Battery life

A smartphone is completely useless if it has a bad battery life, this new device leaves no worries, in fact, it boasts of more improvement than that of the iPhone 5. Streaming video, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on, brightness placed at 75 percent, the 5S device still struggles to stay 6hours 15 minutes before shutting down. This is still the best result so far on smartphone batteries.

Are you opting in or not?

After a surface looks into the new Apple iPhone 5S, you could vividly decide where you are standing.

Truly, the Touch ID biometric fingerprint security system is a big bang, and worth a Nobel for the technology breakthrough, the iPhone 5S is constructed more or less like a piece of jewelry.

On the other hand, you could sit and refuse to feel the swagger of Apple, migrating from a full 4.7″ – 5″ display down to a 4″ might be so challenging. More so, if you are already on the iPhone 5, it’s up to you to decide for an upgrade or lay low till the next update.

Indept Analysis on Personal Cloud Storage Solutions

Having a dedicated storage center doesn’t have to be expensive. If you’re an individual entrepreneur, dedicated storage is a good alternative to keeping sensitive data locally. The trouble is that volume hosting often costs a great deal. The type of storage that you choose is what will drive your costs. Do you need Terrabytes worth of storage and 24/7 support with guaranteed uptime?

For most individuals, the answer is no. Even small businesses would struggle to contain that much data on a remote server. Finding alternatives to expensive cloud storage comes down to identifying what you want.

Some of personal cloud storage solutions factors to consider

Personal Cloud

Hosting or Backup?

In some situations, you can forgo cloud hosting altogether in favor of a local backup. An external hard drive often costs much less than cloud storage and will protect data all the same. The difference is that you’ll need to carry that storage with you everywhere you go. Cloud storage offers access to you all over the Web. Students can use it to bring work to and from campus and home, workers can exchange data remotely and collaborate in real-time. Cloud storage also removes restrictions on file size that email might hinder, allowing you to quickly move large files from one machine to another.

That flexibility makes cloud storage a concern for everyone on the Web.

Media-Specific Storage

  • Depending on what you want to host, you can find a variety of free solutions with premium upgrades.
  • Flickr is an image hosting site backed by Yahoo that offers photo storage as well as an attractive photostream.
  • Google Drive allows storage of document and spreadsheet.
  • Microsoft SkyDrive competes with Google in Office document storage
  • iCloud stores applications and purchases made with your Apple device
  • Amazon also offers free storage for your purchases of music and video

The disadvantage is that you segment your data to different sources.

Personal Cloud

Web-Server Hosting

Web hosting is a valid method of storage, but there are a few concerns. First, if you store your data then it will be open to linking by default, allowing public access to the files you store. You can take security precautions, like encrypting a directory or password protecting data, but that may require additional resources.

You also share your storage capacity with your own website, which only becomes a concern if your site has a lot of moving parts or hosts video. Flash and video streaming are huge bandwidth killers, but media files and downloads present storage problems too. If you plan to use your hosting as a storage solution, make sure you minimize the amount of data your Web page consumes to load.

The positive to Web hosting as storage is that it’s easy to back up your data multiple times, so when server movers perform migrations, or maintenance leads to a crash, your data is secure.

Remote Hosting

Cloud hosting stores your data off-site. It’s very similar to a local hard drive, but you’re actually harnessing the power of a cluster of servers. These terminals run a minimal operating system to devote as much space as possible to storing your data. The largest benefit to remote hosting is that you don’t have it locally. It’s more secure to store data remotely because you’re protected from theft and the hosting company provides some support.

Paying for Hosting

If you’re considering paying for hosting, here are a few tips on what to look for:

  • Uptime: not just that the company has 24/7 uptime guarantees. You want to know that servers are responsive and that your users won’t be waiting for documents to transfer
  • Security: what does the host do to guarantee that your data stays private?
  • Storage space: What do you need to host? Can choosing a specialized provider for a specific type of media save you money?

Cloud hosting will give you more mobility, save you space and give you greater freedom to manage your work load without worrying about securing it.

Nokia Lumia 1020: The Review

To review the Nokia Lumia camera is like trying to review a standard DLSR full-frame camera. This awesome camera phone literally has a 41 Mega Pixel Camera attached to it back. Yup, you heard me, that wasn’t a typo; the Lumia 1020 really has a 41 mega pixel camera, thereby making it the highest mega pixel camera in the world in terms of resolution.

The phone is a masterpiece, running on Windows phone 8 operating system, and literally offering a modernize stereo microphone for very high quality audio recording in case you’re the video freaky type, it also offers a Full HD video interface inclusively for your HD video needs.

It’s also imbibed with 4G Network capability with support for WCDMA, LTE and integrates properly with NFS – can be used as a credit card to for things in NFS verified places. Cool right?

Now, let’s zoom a little bit into the features.

Looking exactly at the front of the Lumia 1020, you’ll find a standard 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 touchscreen display with and a gorilla glass 3 protecting the phone screen from possible scratch. At the lower 3 part of the screen, there you’ll see a beautiful and customized light button which actually isn’t protruding outside like most phones.

Lumia 1

Look exactly at the left part, you’ll notice that there’s no button there, but on the right side there are precisely 3 buttons, volume equalizer, a power/standby button, with the longest being a dedicated snap button, I’m guessing with that integration, Nokia really wants you to stop using your DLSR full-frame camera and start using a Lumia. Diagonally, the Nokia Lumia is 0.41 inch (precisely 10.4mm) thick and the whole device weighs a somewhat impressive 5.57 ounces compared to the Lumia 920 – their first attempt at a 41MP phone – it’s outweighs the 920 with a little bit in ounces; Lumia 920 weighs (6.53 ounces) while Lumia 1020 weighs just 5.57, a little significant different of o.96 ounces.

Lumia 2

However, truth be told, I guess you’re seriously waiting for me to list the Nokia Lumia 1020 camera specs already since it’s one of the most fantastic piece which have made this Windows phone a popular sensation.

Well, below are the features of the camera –

  • 41-megapixel 1/1.5-inch backside-illuminated sensor
  • 2.7x down sampling digital zoom
  • F2.2 lens
  • Optical image stabilization
  • Panorama mode
  • 25mm equivalent focal length in 16:9, 27mm in 4:3
  • Manual shutter speed, focus, and ISO control
  • Xenon flash
  • 1080p 30fps video recording
  • 1.2MP F2.4 front camera
  • Nokia Pro Cam mode
  • Nokia Smart Camera mode

Let me break down the workings of the camera area in great detail.

But first of all, I’ll have you know that the Lumia 1020 camera doesn’t really give you 41MP pictures outrightly.

Lumia 3

What it does is that when you use the Nokia Pro Cam – which snaps only high resolution – to snap anything, you’ll immediately be presented with a 5 Mega Pixel picture and 31-41 Mega Pixel. So Nokia Pro Cam literally snaps one picture in two places, one would be a 5MP picture while the other would be a higher resolution 31 Mega pixel picture.

Of course, you can be able to upload the 5MP version through the phone to the internet, but to leverage the 31-41 Mega Pixel versions, you’ll have to transfer it to a computer, edit and maybe upload online.

Another thing I noticed about the almighty Xenon flash camera positioned at back of the Lumia 1020 has the ability to snap without the flash and yet still produce a very clear picture in the darkness where there’s a little bit illumination in the place. This of course is a thing other phone cameras can’t do. You don’t believe me? Ok try snapping a picture with your Blackberry’s 5MP in an area with very low illumination.

With that said, I’ll be listing finally the Nokia Lumia 1020 complete phone specs below –

Processor

  • 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor

  • Video playback time: 6.8 h
  • Maximum Wi-Fi network browsing time: 6.7 Hour[s]

Phone price – $299 (AT&T (a big seller of Lumia 1020) slashed their own price to $199)

So like I once said; the Nokia Lumia 1020 is actually not something I’ll ever consider as a mere phone; since to me it’s literally a camera that has a phone attached to it. An elegant design from Nokia, especially since it’s comes in white (comes in 3 colours actually, red, blue and white).

To conclude this review, I’d like to know your candid opinion as to whether a phone is actually suppose to have a camera of 41MP?

Is it a logical thing to put such a gigantic functionality inside a phone? What’s your opinion on this? Let’s meet in the comment section below.

Thanks for reading.

5 Ways Content Management Software Can Help Your Startup

Content management software is playing an increasingly active role in tech startups, many of which use content management to improve workflow, reduce paper, and make file indexing more fluid.

Mozilla (Firefox) and Automattic (WordPress) are two prominent examples who used CMS to enhance the productivity of their remote teams. Before they became hugely successful companies, Mozilla and Automattic needed an effective way for their employees to collaborate on a universal platform. This platform became content management software similar to Contentverse. With content management, they achieved their collaborative goals, even with team members situated across the world. Now, WordPress powers over 60 million web sites, and Firefox has over 450 million users. Calling their ventures a success would be putting it lightly.
In addition to tech startups, there is an eclectic variety of companies and institutions that have benefited from content management software. Law enforcement has used content management to keep better track of records, banks have used it to maximize document security, and universities use content management software frequently to share educational data.

Regardless of your business’ niche, it can likely benefit from the increased workflow of content management software, which has several benefits for startup businesses and institutions:

Benefits of using content management software for your business growthWordpress CMS for small business

Improved Universal Accessibility

CMS or Content management software lets you find files easilyWhereas some content management software is restrictive regarding apps and operating systems, most content management software can be quickly used with your already-existing Windows apps. They’re also compatible with the majority of scanners and input devices. In addition, the hosted cloud versions of CMS can work in a Mac environment through any web browser. You can use whatever you’re comfortable with to access content management software, making it a practical option for all of your co-workers. Likely not everyone at your business is a tech wiz, and that’s OK. The universal tendencies and ease-of-use of quality content management software is very easy to learn.

CMS let you quickly Find and View Files

Remember the days when manila folders were routinely strewn across office desks? It’s a faint memory for most companies that utilize content management software. How content management software works globallyWith content management software, you can find any file in an instant, even if you just remember a sliver of its name. Its efficient search functions make cumbersome manual document searches a thing of the past.

In addition to the ability to quickly find files, content management software acts as a nearly universal file reader. You no longer have to install an abundance of programs just to access a specific file type. Most software allows users to view over 400 different file types, regardless of whether the native app is installed. Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Access, and AutoCAD files are just a few file types that content management software can access in an instant.

Enhanced content security

Every company has sensitive files. It’s up to you to keep them that way. CMS makes that job a whole lot easier, with highly secure 128-bit encryption making sure that your content is for your eyes only, or whoever you allow. You can even apply the “double secret” function to specific files, which will allow files to have two layers of encryption. Even with all this security, accessibility is never sacrificed, and your files are never altered from their native format.

It reduces office paper usage

Paper costs can be a hassle without content management software. DigitaCMS or Content management software lets you find files easilylizing your documents and placing them on content management software has a vast number of benefits, one of them being the money you can save each year on using less paper. Also, CMS tracks every single action, so handwritten reports are rarely necessary. And since most can be accessed from anywhere, even on your smart phone and tablet, you can use this paper-saving methodology everywhere at any time.

Utilize automated workflow

The power of content management makes managing a project’s workflow a lot easier. When you’re finished working on a particular file or assignment, content management software automatically sends the file to the next collaborator in line, which is fully customizable. This makes managing projects a breeze; you no longer have to be worried about every single aspect of the project’s workflow. With CMS, workflow is fully automated.

Conclusion

Content management softwares makes it easier for collaboration between different people at different location of the world, not to talk of office location where data could be inputted in a matter of seconds with the use of CMS system such as ERP and others.

What do you think about content management softwares such as WordPress, Mozilla etc.? Please share your views below.

Why is a Dedicated Server Better?

Why is dedicated server than other servers?

There are more than one answer to that question and it depends on your specific needs. For example, a business that runs and intranet and has obligations to protect the sensitive data stored on the server has different needs to a business that runs an online presence that stores little or no sensitive information in their databases.

Shared Hosting is not practical

However, if the continued availability of your online presence is important or your private network is critical to business operations, any other users on your server have the potential to cause your business major problems. Other users can place demands on shared server resources that will potentially have an impact on your ability to operate. Bandwidth and processing power are shared between many users and although some servers can throttle connections to ensure some users are not using more than their share, it’s not always the case. The question is, would you be happy for your business to miss opportunities or lose efficiency because your server access is limited?

You get Improved Data Security on a Dedicated Server

A dedicated server is the only sensible option for businesses that rely on data and you are legally obliged under the Data Protection Act to ensure the safety of any customer data deemed sensitive. There are two ways to ensure your data security with a dedicated server. You can either host your entire software and database in one location with everything stored in one location and use water-tight security systems or you can host your non-critical data on separate servers with remotely accessed databases on secure dedicated servers at another location.

Why is dedicated server better? Improved Security

Some businesses prefer to use managed servers for their front-end client side applications, while retaining all their mission critical or sensitive data on dedicated in-house servers or with another managed server with enhanced security such as dedicated servers from Dell. The distancing of client side interaction from data storage provides another level of security. Security and reliability are the two primary reasons dedicated servers are a better option for most businesses, but scalability is an important factor.

Increasing Capacity with Dedicated Servers

Dedicated Servers offers more spaces

It’s much easier to grow your business with dedicated servers because you have the freedom to add as much as you want without performing a complex migration every time you reach or exceed capacity. Adding extra memory, storage and processing power is almost impossible on a shared host unlike dedicated servers where your hardware is yours to change at will.

As part of the Dell team, I know the great range of server options which are available, which can be found on our site. Why not check them out? And also drop your comments below as I will be answering them one after the other. Thanks for reading!

How to Grow Your eCommerce Business with LinkedIn

It will be quite some time before LinkedIn rivals Facebook’s massive user base, but it’s growing at a tremendous rates. More importantly, LinkedIn’s growth focuses primarily around business and entrepreneurship, making it an excellent option for eCommerce store startups.

LinkedIn does not function in precisely the same way as other social media platforms. It’s important for you to understand how this can help you so that you can make the most of it. Here’s how you can start using LinkedIn to increase your eCommerce store’s credibility and authority.

Stratagem for Growing eCommerce Business on LinkedInLinkedIn role in eCommerce growth

LinkedIn Endorsements Rocks

LinkedIn puts a face on people in a business. You should keep both an eCommerce store account and a personal account. Just make sure to connect the two without duplicating the content. The reason that you want to do this is to make sure that it’s clear your business has a face. Additionally, the endorsements section allows you to demonstrate the areas that you as an individual and your business specialize in. This allows you to further develop the specialization whether it’s in art website templates or cruelty free chocolate.

Obviously, you don’t want to overdo the endorsements by putting up things that you can’t substantiate. Since other people confirm the endorsements and give them, you help establish your credibility. Recommendations take this a step farther. Promote the best ones. You can even use some of them on your official website.

Contacts

LinkedIn remains the go to social networking site for young professionals and entrepreneurs. You can expect to find all kinds of like-minded people as well as potential leads. Your eCommerce business will grow based not only on sales but on the people whom you meet. You can take this a long way by reaching out to other experts and members of the industry. Participate in discussions, share articles, and be courteous at all times. If you find a contact that you particularly appreciate and admire, then take the time to extend an invitation for a guest post. This can help to expand your customer base and viewer base.

Don’t forget the “Who’s Viewed Your Profile” feature. This feature allows you to see who has checked out your business page and your personal page. Premium users gain access to all of that information, but you can see the last few if you have not signed up for that service. Take the time to evaluate these leads. You can quickly determine whether someone is a potential customer or competition checking you out. If it looks like a potential customer, extend a friendly greeting.

Update Content Regularly

You can take your LinkedIn profile even further by regularly updating your profile headers and keywords. Include content and information about your eCommerce store. While a content marketing campaign does not generally focus on LinkedIn, it’s still a good place to post information. You are just as likely to make a good impression on experts who may want to invest in your business as you are to contact new customers. Just make sure that the content is quality content and that it will make a good impression.

LinkedIn is a good platform to create good brand awareness, particularly when it is ecommerce business, because there are countless number of business-minded, vision and goal-oriented personalities there waiting to know about your services. Just locate and connect them for better exposure!

What are the working techniques that you are using for getting results from your LinkedIn marketing efforts?

A short Sony Xperia M Review with in-depth explanation

The new Sony Xperia M smartphone tested to the limit!

August has seen the release of several great new entry level smartphones from the big names in technology. Perhaps the most attractive of these devices is the Sony Xperia M. Like other Sony phones the Xperia M runs on Google’s Android smartphone platform, and despite being about a third of the price of some high end smartphones, it runs most apps from the Google Play store just as well. While there are some downsides to the device – the camera isn’t great and internal storage is tiny – those on a budget who need a smartphone should seriously consider this phone.Sony Xperia M smartphone review

The phone is available in both single and dual-SIM options, meaning that those who regularly use their phones in more than one country can save on network fees by using two local SIMs with the latter option. It’s also got features that are becoming less common in Android phones but are really great for keeping a phone usable for longer: a removable battery and a microSD card slot. The microSD card slot really is essential on this phone though as there’s only 4GB of internal storage, half of which is used by the operating system. If you plan to download many apps or take photos then you should invest in a microSD card at the same time as you buy the phone. You’ll be able to pick one up at the maximum 32GB for less than 10% of the price of the phone.

Other technical specifications are more reasonable than the sadly lacking internal storage thankfully. 1GB of RAM is only half what the best phones currently get, and quite good for a phone in the Xperia M’s price range. The dual-core 1GHz processor might sound slow compared with the latest octa-core options, but is speedy enough for most tasks – and there’s also a respectable graphics processor in the form of an Adreno 305 to help it out.

The 4″ screen is as large as an iPhone 5, although the resolution (480 x 854) means the screen isn’t quite up to Retina standards at just 245 ppi. The quality is good for the price bracket of this phone though, and the main problem is viewing angles being somewhat poor rather than resolution.

The phone’s camera is where it is somewhat let down. Five megapixels doesn’t necessarily sound bad, but this really is an example of where you can’t just go on megapixels to judge quality. The dynamic range of the photos is quite low and there’s colour reproduction issues too. The HDR mode helps somewhat but the colours are less natural. Comparing the camera to other options in this price range it really under performs – the Nokia Lumia 620 is far superior to any Android phone, while other recent budget Android such as the Samsung Galaxy Core also perform better. Despite being only 3 megapixels the now quite old iPhone 3GS produces similar quality photos to the brand new Sony Xperia M. Video suffers from the same problem and saves the files without using adequate compression meaning your limited storage gets eaten up faster than necessary.

Despite some major issues with the camera, overall this is perhaps the best budget Android phone available. While other phones in the price range can compete on technical specifications, the Sony Xperia M offers the best all-round experience. The built quality of the device is excellent – as we’d expect from Sony – and the design makes it feel like a high-end smartphone rather than a bargin-bin device. The device feels quite snappy too and you’ll have no problem browsing the web, sending emails and making calls. We’d only not recommend the device to those regularly use their phones as cameras – in this price range you’d better opting for a Nokia Lumia for camera quality.
